Lianne Carroll – Vocals

Award winning jazz vocalist with a loyal following and a voice you need to hear to believe. She conducts workshops and masterclass’s in the UK, France, Italy, Hawaii and Portugal. She performs at music venues and festivals everywhere, solo, trio, quartet and with full orchestra. She has headlined the legendary Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club since 1993. With ‘London Elektricity’ she toured New Zealand, Brazil and played at Glastonbury Festival in the UK, and released 3 CDs. Awards include; ‘Best Vocalist’ and ‘Best of Jazz’ at the BBC Jazz Awards (2005), Marston Pedigree Jazz Award ’Best Vocalist’ for Standard Issue (2005), Ronnie Scott’s ‘Best Female Jazz Vocalist’ (2007), British Parliamentary Jazz Award for ‘Musician Of The Year’ (2008), Her album Up and Down (2011) was voted as Best Jazz Album of the Year in the Parliamentary Jazz Award’s (2012), She won ‘Best British Vocalist’ in British Jazz Awards (2012), and nominated best UK Vocalist of 2012 at the first Jazz FM’s Awards (2013). She released Ballads together with trumpeter and producer James McMillan (April 2013).
